    Default Before work hunt/after work hunt

    Well I had a full day.I was needed at work so I decided to try for about an hour.Heard the bird at 6:57am,he hit the dirt at 7:15am>Gotta sit tight on those early season birds.9 7/8" beard 1 1/8" spurs 16 or 17lb.Great way to start the season off...Went to a WMa this evening,no poultry,but did manage to get some more pork..lol



    Even indians laid down their bows,and picked up guns....

    Yeah ben I had a terrible headache and just came straight home to get to work.Eric was covered with birds,and before the weekend was out..covered with turkey poo...lol..He's been trying to help a few guys get on birds,so hasn't really got on 'em himself.

    Hey Ben..yea its been a tough opening week. With a little different luck me and my huntin buddy should have 3 on the ground. G missed a big bird last Sunday, Ive had a few come by just out of shooting range. I have been covered up with people. I did manage to kill my first one yesterday morning about 7:50 before work. Got lucky and heard some hens yelping..went in there and had a 2 year old and a jake come in and rolled the biggest bird up. Had a little 7 inch beard on him..but its 1 down.
