    Default Holster Help

So i have now purchased a springfield xd9 service model 4"barrel last week then yesterday i put on a streamlight tlr-1 tactical light so my next question is what kind of holster would be best for conceling this set-up i would like to find something that could double as a in the waistband or a on the hip style depending on what i am wearing says where i wear the gun for comfort and suggestions and i dont really want to have to take the light off to carry it a shoulder set up is possible as well but i think i already have one of those picked out

I don't know of any good concealment rigs for sidearms w/ lights attached. Might just have to open carry.

Open carry is legal as long as you possess a valid Georgia Firearm's License. Everything you need to know here:

Check out the Raven Concealment Phantom LC. Its designed to be configured as a belt holster or an IWB holster. You can roll with it either way, you just need the hardware. Here is the link.

Hey! While the State code does allow us to carry openly, I have to offer my opinion. As a recently retired LEO (27 years in Savannah, GA) I can tell you what would probably happen if you walked down the street with your gun hanging out - You would get a lot of attention, most of it unwanted. Most cops don't understand the Concealed Carry Law (CCL). I my entire career I can't remember 5 times I ever has to use it and most LEO's are not interested in educating themselves regarding the law. If your are stopped and try to 'educate' the LEO - regardless of how polite you are - you will probably lose the 'fight' at least intially. Better to have a concealed weapon (with a permit) and avoid any possible confrontations.
Isaiah 6:8 Then I heard the voice of the Lord saying,
"Whom shall I send? And who will go for us?"
And I said, "Here am I. Send me!"
