Thread: 1911 OWB holster?????

Can anyone recommend a good 1911 OWB holster for a Commander?

5" Commander? I thought commander length was 4"-4.25". For leather I really like my Tagua, paid less than $40 I think. The SERPA's look pretty rugged too.

I think you're right 00leland00. This will be my second 1911 so, I'm still a newbie.

Yeah, AFAIK 5"= gov't., 4"= commander, 3"= officer.

Thanks Doug.....the GSS looks like a nice holster.

I have a serpa from blackhawk. Really good holster once you get used to the lock system. I like it for carrying and hunting. For IDPA I use a bladetech.
