    Default Making a Mag61 flashlight

    Anybody do MagLite conversions for hotwire bulbs?

    I just ordered everything to make a Mag61 (MagLite with 5761 bulb) using a MagLite 2c cell host. Hope I don't blow nothing up!

    Parts list:
    MagLite 2c cell flashlight.
    2 AW New Version 18650 Protected 2600 mAh Rechargeable Lithium Batteries.
    AW V2 Mag C Incan Driver-Soft Start & Multi-Brightness Unit.
    Phillips 5761 30W T3 6V G4 bulbs.
    Sandwich Shoppe Camless M2 Smooth (SMO) Reflector.
    UCL® Lens from Flashlightlens.

    Sounds like some fun I got a couple old Mag lites but they 're d size wonder how mind would turn out...Hmmmmm!

    Looks like some of my parts shipped today!....all the way from Thailand. I wonder how long that will take to get here?

    Here's a few parts that came in today for the Mag61. Now all I need to show up is the reflector and host flashlight.

    Stock switch on left verses AW soft start switch on right.
