Thread: Fenix TK40

I've been lurking over on the CPF site for the last couple of days trying to get as much info on TK40 and it's battery requirements. It seems to be a well accepted light.

I haven't seen one in person let alone handle one but going by the reviews and first hand opinions from owners, I'm about a week away from ordering one. Everybody states that its well built and mucho tough, got alot of power, and has a long run-time. Plus it uses AA batteries (8 of 'em and going rechargeable) instead of those expensive "unobtanium" types. Anyone here have one?

I don't have one, so I can't comment. When you get yours in give us an AAR if you can....?

As soon I get it I'll post up. Going to try and get everything all at once (light, batteries, and charger). Also trying to source out some extra battery carriers.

AAR=After Action Report.

I can't vouch for the TK40, but I can vouch for Fenix. My edc is an LD10, and it is the t!ts.

COF is pretty cool. I wandered over there a time or two. Its like the ARFCOM of flashlights. Saw some really neat stuff but if I hung around there much I know it would cost me money.
