well i have the money what i'm not understanding is the whole process with living on post and having a weapon, i understand i have to get it registered what i wanna know is say i go out i buy this gun and its in my possession i have to get it registered then i store it in my company arms room?

Thats what you have to do if you live on post here at Fort Gordon. Check with PMO to get the correct info...
