Thread: Need a hachet

Anybody know where I can get a smaller sized hachet to put in my pack?

Not sure how big you're wanting to get, but I really like the Gerber axes. This one might work for ya!

gerbers are very nice, I have one and i have 2 estwings, the gerbers are sharper but the estwings hold up better.

If I'm not mistaken they had that model in the savannah store last time I was in there.

They did when I was there to. I have a smith&wesson camp hatchet. It is very sharp and holds an edge well. Its sharp enough to shave with. I use it to skin hogs. It was fairly inexpensive also.

Not trying to get a agruement but I had the Gerber....
I didn't likr the way it felt so My son wanted it he has it now I just got an old cheap axe from the shed and like it real well....

Fiskar or how ever you spell it make a nise one I got from Lowes for about $20
