Thread: LaRue, you would cry

If you knew what I just did to my shotgun. I spent the last 2 hours with a file, filing on the reciever or it ...... and no I didnt go back and paint it or try to cover it up. Next up before next weekend is I am going to take it to the welding shop and hopefully have them weld my lift gate so I can get it closer to the mag tube so I dont hang my thumb on it.

Why would I cry?

I gotta weld up my lift gate as well. I've hung my thumb up too many times already. If I do it at a match I'm gonna be pissed. Now I just need my gunsmith to get back into town.

I filed A BUNCH. Ive actually been working on it doing little things off and on for the last week. I need to pull it down today and take the bolt release out so I can drill and tap it for a bigger "button".

If you roll my shotgun over and look at the bottom I filed on the left hand side away from the bolt release to open up that part, then if you look at the follower you can see about half of it sticking out of the mag tube.
