Don’t know if anybody here shoots a Citori, or is experiencing any problems, but since the modified firing pin was never really announced by Browning, just sort of eased into production, I thought I’d post this here.
Not all Citoris have either problem, ithey seem to be random afflictions.
Citoris have had two separate problems with the bottom barrels. One, a failure to ****, is normally a result of very light loads fired in the top barrel – usually correctable only by using heavier loads.
After years of problems with FTFs in the bottom barrel in their Citoris, and years of claiming “no problems exist”, Browning has finally admitted – tacitly – that the problem really does exist. Browning has altered the firing pin that they sell for the lower barrel of their Citori guns by adding about 0.015" to the length at the large end.
Anybody having the problem, now a new firing pin should clear it up, as long as the pin is the “latest model”.

One, a failure to ****,
OK, I'll spell it "Kock". Maybe that'll get by the built-in censor.
