    Default Went to shoot my first IDPA today...

    and the match was cancelled. bang

    I guess. When I pulled up the gate was locked and a silhouette up with 'NO MATCH' painted on it. Caitin (The Gun Shop) was pulling in as I was pulling out. Chatted with him for half a second, told him it was no dice, bailed. Oh well, next month I guess.

    Yeah I was bummed out also but they were worried about people slipping in the mud with loaded guns. Hopefully we will be dried up and ready to shoot next month.

    The concern with shooting when the range is 'slick' is real. HOWEVER, I would LOVE to shoot a 'Mud Match' but the problem is most folks wouldn't want to get their Kimbers, H&K's, etc. that dirty!
