has any bought guns from the CMP before? if so what kind of quality did you get? was is a hassle to do the paper work? they seem to have good prices on M1's and ammo.

I have a CMP Garand in the safe right now and 1k of CMP ammo. Its a great shooter.

its not mine. It belongs to my best freind, I'm just storing it for him untill....hell I don't know.

im looking to make the drive to pick up mine in person, that way i can hand pick my 1 or 4. your welcome to tag along

you need a bore gauge and a chamber gauge.
sometimes they will loan you one
when we go I am the holder and he the checker
that way we look at all the gun in the section we are intrested in and can get the best one's
I will call next time we go
