Thread: Dick's Sporting Goods

They currently have a few rifles on sale. The one that caught my eye was their Remington 700 SPS Varmint rifles. They are olive green and come with a "Remington" scope, probally a rebadged Tasco. Anyway it is ready to shoot for $449.99 (with mail in rebate)

This was in Augusta, they had 223, 22-250, and 308 ones

The Savage's were on sale as well.

do they carry reloading supplys
If they do how much would you say --do they carry

Augusta did not carry reloading stuff. I have not found reloading stuff in any Dick's I have been in yet.

Gander Mountain in Jacksonville had some, I purchased some primers from there last time I was down.

Bass Pro in Savannah has a pretty good selection of Hogden powders, but no primers or bullets.

Dicks, here in Columbus Ga, does not carry any reloading supplies.

Hack

I remember seeing that add. I called the local one, checked to make sure a .308 was there, they said yes. I arrived 40 min later and went to the counter and spoke to the guy who I talked on the phone only to hear he had sold all three. Now I know why they call it "Dicks".

A 60 mile trip down the drain. I won't go back.
On the good side I got a Savage model 10 22" Tactical with a nice Burris scope all broke in from a friend at a great price. I feel I'm better off.
