    Default My New .22 Rifle

Cheap, Ugly, reliable (so far.) Guy had it since the 70's when he was 13. Tube fed, 15 rounds. It was very cheap. Savage Model 187s.

I added a scope with dovetails I had laying around.

Now I have a nice plinker I play around with and shoot cheap ammo with. Believe it or not, the .20 cal pellets for my quiet airgun that I use for small game cost more than .22 LR rounds.

Thinking about picking up one of these...

Anyone know a place near Kennesaw or Marietta or Austell where I can just go blast away ? I'd hate to pay $15 range fees for this little thing when the 550 packs cost $15.

Maybe it's because I'm young, but I'm very happy to finally have a .22 that I can use for some cheap fun.

Those are great guns. I have one that's in pretty rough shape, but shoots ok.

To bad you don't live closer........we could go out to Mr.Bradley's place.

You have the same model? That's awesome.

Hey....I've never known...is it okay to leave the tube loaded on this thing?

Looks great! I'm always trying to keep my eyes open for a used .22 mag rifle, prefer bolt.
