    Default Lever action rifles

    Let's see them.

    I'm thinking about getting a Marlin 45/70.

I'd post a pic of mine, but Caleb beat me to it. I also have a 336 in .35 Rem, exactly like his. I switch the scope between my Mini30 and the 336 and I don't remember which gun it's on at the moment..... Caleb, have you tried the new Hornady Leverrevolution bullets yet? I bought a box and tried them at the range, they seemed to group pretty well.

Since I don't hunt, I've toyed with the idea of trading this gun for one in .45 Colt or .454 Casull, which I already reload for. (Actually the 336 came with my wife, and I doubt she'd let me get rid of it...)

I shot the Remington core lokts and couldn't get 3-4" groups out of it.

I put the leverevolution in it and it shot 1.25" group with 9 rounds.

    all at 120 yards

the hornady is all it gets now
