I loaded up some 125g HPs last year according to the book at max for almost 2000fps out of my GP100. I can dig up the recipe if you'd like. Just wanted to see. Never again. I'll stick with HBWC at 800fps...

Beyond that - at my own risk, I wouldn't in good conscience load ammo for someone else... an accidental double charge and you've ruined someones life. I trust myself, but I don't think folks should trust someone else's hand loads. You can get one of the Lee handloaders for the price of a box of ammo - and roll your own. At your own risk of course. The hottest thing I've got going now is my 300g hardcast .45 Colts over 22g of WW296 and that should be good for 1200 fps. That's my "hunk 'o hurt" for my Alaska trip, and the recoil in my Blackhawk is near what I get with my .454 - triggerguard nicks your finger pretty good.

well since its for a spear gun the round dosnt go off utill the spear is 10 ft from me, and when your are shooting cobia you need a little ooomph to them.

question: which has more powder in it a 357 or a 556?
