    yep... that happens. Try hitting the screens next time they are cheaper...

    How lite and what cal. was that load load? I've had some lite ones but ****,to hit and destroy the chrono.. Come on sure it wasnt a sighting prob.

    Get the PACT next it has all the tenders on the bench with you.

    I always turn my scope down to 3 or 4 so I can see the chrono and always give myself plenty of clearance. Also when shooting over chrono I use a sled instead of bags. Bags can settle a little lower from each shot and get you shooting the chrono in the pants before long.

    I did the same thing to my Shooting Chrony. Aiming toward the chrony, hoping it was right, but looking at something else. Pulled the trigger on my 45/70 and WOW, I had pieces of Chrony scattered everywhere.

    And crap, it had just gone out of its warranty period.

    I also place bullseye target on a stand right behind the chrony - high and centered. Since I've begin this, I've never come close to hitting the body of my chrony.

    Glad you werent using my chrono stand. My cooler doesn't need any extra holes
