    Default Woohoo!

472 308 cases sized and trimmed. Just awaiting the 168 grain BTs to load it up. Planning on Varget powder for the loads.

According to my inventory I currently have about 1800 rounds of .38 sp and 700 rounds of .45 Colt already loaded, so there is no need for me to do any more reloading in the near future..... but a day at the range could change that!

I need to load 45. I've got ~500 223 in line before the 45 though. Finished up about 100 rounds of 6.8SPC a few weeks ago.

What .223 load will you be making?

Haven't decided yet. Haven't tested home-rolled outa my 556 or my 308 yet. I was using H322 with the 6.8, but I would like to stick to one powder across all three rifles, and the H322 wasn't listing out well on either the 556 or the 308. So, I'll try another powder. Whatcha using?

I've been using AA2230. I'm loading 64 gr and under with it. I think it's listed as 55 gr and under, but it seems fine with the 64 gr Power Points.

My 308 load ..... its a HAMMER out of my 700 ......... Ill have to take the pic and post it. 5 rounds at 200 yards under a half inch.

Win cases trimmed to 2.005, cci primer. 46.8 grains of Varget, 155 Sierra match king loaded to 2.825 measured from the meplat. That was actually shot in some decent cross winds.

Out of my rifle Ive chronoed them at an average of 2725 feet per second. They fly nicely and show no signs of pressure, no sticky bolt lift, no ejector swipe, nice rounded primers, no flatening at all. Max load with Varget is 47 and it is listed as a compressed load. 46.8 is a full load and is silightly compressed, it does not move when you shake it, but it is not overly compressed to where it will push the bullet back out of the case.
