Stupid Lee 556 die keeps sticking on cases no matter how much lube I put on the case. Anyone else had this issue? I had one stick on my 6.8, replaced it with a Hornady and it works great. 308 work fine.

So far I've never had a stuck case, but I know my day is coming..
The only Lee dies I have are 9mm and they seem to work fine. Did you contact Lee yet? I hear they have good CS.
Hold My Beer and Watch This!
No, not yet. I'm using Dillon lube. Might have to try a different brand.

I stopped selling lee dies because of this very issue. rcbs or hornady IMO
I use rcbs and when you don't lube they stick also.
everyone messes up some time. just don't mess up with the powder
I had that cartridge greased like a pig at a party and it still stuck. Thanks for the heads up caleb, I might just have to try another brand.

no problem![]()
I had a stuck case with my .223 die, sent it back to Lee. Got it back after 1 1/2 weeks first case got stuck again. Changed to Dillon lube and tried some of the Hornady stuff and have not had a problem.
Whatever you do dont use "One Shot" it should be called One ****, cause it sucks.
I think with the Dillon spray I have to let them solvent evaporate. I usually don't. Gonna try several different brands I have and see what works for me. Its funny. The 308 causes me no issues, yet the puny little 556 is a pain. Not even too many issues with 6.8. I broke the mandrel getting the case out of the die, so I'll guess I'll get a new sizer and let the Lee sit. The seater will prolly work fine.
