Does anyone want to meet up and show me the ropes of reloading? I'm selling my AK in another thread in hopes of funding a reloading setup. I'd like to try it out and see if it's something I want to do. It would also be a good way to learn more about it. There are some things, I imagine, that you can't learn by reading and reading.

Better than what I know... nothing! :D

Well, I take that back. I've read through a couple reloading manuals and have a general idea of the basics, but I'd like to see it put into practice. When are you available?

I'm somewhere between both of ya. I've loaded a few rounds of 45, found out my pistol doesnt like the bullet (malfunctions in almost every mag) and that was pretty much the end of my fun.

I really need to get components load up the brass I have.

Have you started looking at presses yet? I have a Lee singe stage that seems pretty good for what it is and a Lee Pro 100 that seems like a real POS.

I've heard several people say the Hornady Lock-n-load is the best deal in progressives right now.

I'm looking at the Lee Turret press. I plan on reloading .38spl, .45ACP, and .223/5.56

Kempf Gun Shop looks to have quite a package deal. I can get the press, dies/turrets for those 3 calibers, loads of accessories, all for around $425-450 shipped (can't remember the exact price off the top of my head right now).

I was looking at the lock and load on Midway. It's out of stock until early May, but you can backorder it. Hornady is running a deal for 1000 bullets when you buy that press (along with varying amounts of bullets for other reloading equipment parts).
