Howdy and.
The GP100 is a great home defense weapon. Have you and any training yet? If not, you may be able to find a local NRA instructor to give you some training.![]()
Yes, I took a class with one of the guys that works at the range where I shoot. Don't know if he is an NRA instructor though. I'd been there several times trying different handguns before I settled on the GP and he was very helpful and knowledgeable.
Well howdy![]()
Please be able to identify what you are shooting even in a break in...
Handle every stressful situation like a dog.
Piss on it and walk away
I love my GP100, most accurate revolver I own. In fact, I'm just now in at the computer for a minute, as I was loading ammo for it in the garage. (158 g SWC over 4.0g Universal, .38sp case, Win sp primer) Now I'm going to go back out and crank out another 50 rounds, then check the computer again...

welcome welcome!!
Hi tomiswho, 00Leland00, and Caleb!
Yep, I love my GP even though it really doesn't fit my hand the way it should...small hands, big gun. Maybe that doesn't matter a whole lot. The shots were really fired from 7 yards. Newbie mistatke!I love my GP100, most accurate revolver I own.

Nice group!
I think a proper fitting gun does matter. Maybe you could look into some of the after market grips? I knoe Houge makes some very nice grips. I use them on my AR15's and love them.
You shooting .357 ammo in the GP100 or .38sp?
