Default Hello from the Athens area

I just recently bought a GP100 for home defense and am learning about the exciting world of gun ownership.

    Howdy and .

The GP100 is a great home defense weapon. Have you and any training yet? If not, you may be able to find a local NRA instructor to give you some training.

Yes, I took a class with one of the guys that works at the range where I shoot. Don't know if he is an NRA instructor though. I'd been there several times trying different handguns before I settled on the GP and he was very helpful and knowledgeable.

I love my GP100, most accurate revolver I own. In fact, I'm just now in at the computer for a minute, as I was loading ammo for it in the garage. (158 g SWC over 4.0g Universal, .38sp case, Win sp primer) Now I'm going to go back out and crank out another 50 rounds, then check the computer again...

    Welcome to the forum,
    Tom

    Hi tomiswho, 00Leland00, and Caleb!

I love my GP100, most accurate revolver I own.
Yep, I love my GP even though it really doesn't fit my hand the way it should...small hands, big gun. Maybe that doesn't matter a whole lot. The shots were really fired from 7 yards. Newbie mistatke!

    Nice group!

I think a proper fitting gun does matter. Maybe you could look into some of the after market grips? I knoe Houge makes some very nice grips. I use them on my AR15's and love them.

You shooting .357 ammo in the GP100 or .38sp?
