Thread: Online Journals-Read before posting

Let's discuss how we want to do these.
Include winds, types of food sources hunting or scouting.
OTG or stands/climbers/ladders
Time in woods
All game seen
woods/roads/field/etc
am or pm

I think jack's gonna work with us on it to make it streamlined.
I'm thinking edit your post for an entire month. That way only 12 post in your thread.
Use this thread for now to comment on the topics so the journals are only posted in by thread starter.
I would suggest seperate kill thread like "my year so far" from last year but I'm open to suggestions.(meaning no pics in these threads)unless yall think its best to combine it all. or even break it into 4 different threads 3 months long....

Add anything here you think will help.

I think that's a good idea about comments should only be done by thread starter and not sure about only 12 post. Heck, I can't remember what happened two days ago unless I write it down...lol. Oh, I like the idea of the kill threads being in the other hunting areas.....deer, hog, ect. That will give us more post in those areas.

I was saying to come back an edit your post so that each month stayed in one box. That was my thought.

I go too much so I can't remember everything from the whole month to post in one post.That's why I got time down for 90% of my hunts that I am trying to remember off the top of my head,and not many details...I will be able to remember details clearer if I can do it on a hunt by hunt post.There is no limit on posts anyways is there?I'm caught up to date so I am going to put more detail in my next entries,and BTW uit is my journal not yours Martin..lol

Oh I see. Good idea

Well I don't see anything wrong with a short story of the hunt with a pic,and having a bigger detailed thread.I don't always post all the stories of the kills.

No limit on post. I see what the man is saying.....just edit your original post for each month. That way you will have 12 post.....one for each month. Seems like it will be easy to keep up with it then.

plp after speaking with jack yesterday I was under the impression to have it somewhat streamlined and all similiar. I like the "my year so far" idea for pics and a journal(log) of the hunts. jmo

That will work too. We don't have many post in the hunting sections, but if we do it like that it will be ok. I just want to build up the hunting section some.

and that way you could at the end say something about the whole month, maybe lessons learned mistakes made or similiar topics that we could all discuss maybe in another thread.
