    Default Quick hunt!

Got off around 4pm today and hit the woods.Checked a few spots with no luck.Decided to check a spot I have had good luck with in the past, and as I slipped along I saw 4 hogs.1 was a sow with 5# piglets.I didn't want to shoot her. There was a big black boar, and a black sow with a white stripe, but I saw the one I wanted. He was yellow with black polka dots.

I started my approach on the corn flake crunchy leaves.Thankfully the wind was blowing decent, and in my favor.I got almost 60yds from the one I wanted when the 2 little pigs ran my way...Bringing mom.I knew I had to hurry or I may get busted.I took 3 quick steps, and she picked me off,but was unsure.I stood still, and she started moving again, but was on alert..All I needed was 1 more step to get a solid prop...How fast am I?Can I do it?I rolled the dice and took one more step. That was enough for her to know something was indeed over there..Out the corner of my eye I saw her start to trot real fast,so i got my crosshairs on the boar, and squeezed off before she could tell on me.

The 250gr T/C shockwave hit solid right through both lungs. The boar fell over right there. It was nice to have a easy hunt after all the hours I have put in this year.Seems like they are starting to move a little better.Lots of pressure still on them.

    Here he is

Even indians laid down their bows, and picked up guns....

This hog wasn't part of the group from the other day.He was about 10 miles away from them.
