    Talking My first hog

Last night I went on my first hunt of the year. My husband and I went to the stand we were sitting there waiting for something to come out. All of a sudden out comes this pack of hogs. I couldn't believe my eyes it was one of the big ones that's been hitting our feeder hard. We have had her on the trail cam. She would stand on her hind legs and just eat like there was no tommorrow. Well she didn't get to see today because I took her out with a
30-06 Sunday evening. We took her to be processed and the weighed her. She was 285 pounds wow. My husband let one of his friends know how much she weighed and there has only been one other hog that weighed more than her in the club. My year has started out to a good start.

    Talking Very nice!!

Huge Congrats!! 285lbs she weighed. WOW, that is a lot of pork. You were able to handle a 30-06? Awesome!! I have a friend in KY who also uses that rifle. Great pic. I enjoyed reading your story...you took her out so she didn't see today...Good job!! That'll teach her to keep eating from your feeder. Don't have pigs around, where I am. Glad Jack posted the pic for you. Nice to have another gal coming on here. Good luck for the rest of the season. K
