Thread: Lil Man aka Hog Slayer!!!!

I don't know what I am going to do with this young fella..
I tell ya he is flat puttin em down this year.
He has already taken 3 deer since Aug 15th. 2 of them since last Friday and now this.
I witnessed an amazing feat . I watched my 10 yr old drop 3 hogs in their tracks in less than 2 minutes.
We had a group of 6 or 7 I thought(Nolan says 8 or 9) come out tonite. I know one thing for sure there's 3 less in the group.
After the first shot I had to tell him "Reload and shoot another one!" when the 2nd fell I said it again. The others left.I got on the phone with Mark and told him what had happened and while talking 2 more came out. I told Mark to hold on a second. He heard the thunder on the last.(pretty cool, he's in Myrtle Beach)
I am very proud of my Little man tonite. What a shot he has become.......

He keeps this up and he'll have his own T.V. show

This one is from Saturday.
Well tonite I let my dad sit with him.
My dad sees no reason to shoot a big boar. he says they are good for nuthin......
Well he put Nolan off several times on 2 200lb plus boars, probly the ones we saw back in August.
Anyway they seen 12 tonite(dad thinks he could have taken 2 more).
Ended with one nice sow.another DRT moment as well. Look for the other kids to get in this action in the week to come.(If I can get their dads to put em in this spot).

I sat with my wife in her 1st hunt ever and we had something walk up 10 yds from us in a thicket. She said her heart was in her throat.I said welcome to hunting. it was a great day to have all of us in the woods. It was really cool to hear him shoot and not be right there beside him and for both of us to share that moment. He learned to text message just before the hunt and kept me updated thru out the evening....
