Didnt see a **** thing. Found a nice wallow though. I might go check it out again tomorrow. It was about 87degrees so maybe as it heats up around noon tomorrow my luck will improve.

Me and Ben went and checked some wallows put out a camera saw a nice buck at 720 and 2 black coyotes. all in all a good time.
Was this on post?
I thought about putting a game cam at a spot I like on post. I see alot of tracks and big wallows but have yet to see a pig there. I figured it would help me pattern them. Not sure how long it would take to get stolen though.

NO South Carolina
Sgt. it seems to me like the hogs hit the wallows early(sometimes before daylight),and in the evenings, but they don't seem to hit the wallows during mid day until temps bust into the 90's.Have you ever taken a hog before?
Yes I have taken a hog before but by dumb luck more than anything. I caught a group in the open and a boar didnt survive the encounter.
I took another that year just out walking and scared him up, but it was a very young hog.
Both were pure dumb luck and if you compare my time spent vs. hogs harvested it becomes very apperent I don't have a clue what I am doing.
By evening what time do you mean? Right before sundown? I swear I am gonna learn to hog hunt before I leave Ga. bang

Okay then I need to improve my dead pig to hours spent in the woods ratio. Right now its something like 100+ to 1
