    Default Hog 6-10-08

    I had yesterday off work, so I figured I'd go hog hunting. Just before dark I had about twelve 25-30lbs pigs in front of me. I watched them waiting, just knowing the bigger ones weren't far behind. Not long after the little ones came out, a small lone fawn came out right behind the pigs and was feeding 20yds from them. I was watching in amazement wondering if the fawn thought it was a pig too. Then I spotted 5 bigger hogs coming through and I swung my rifle around and shot a decent one after it cleared away from the pack. It ain't a beast, weighing somewhere around 80-100lbs, but is just right for eatin'!
    (No I'm not drunk, the camera caught me blinking!)

    I was getting ticked off.....I missed hogs 4 times since turkey season ended! I figured out my gun was off and made some adjustments w/ my buddy.
