a ruger sp101 stainless in 357mag. 3 in barrel so its a new carry gun. one of these days ill post some pics so you will believe me.

They're very well made"built like a tank" revolvers.You may find 125gr to shoot a little low.I think they are sighted more for 158 gr.Good buy on a great gun.I put a clip draw on mine.Some say that it leaves the trigger exposed but your belt covers that problem not to mention the long trigger pull.Tape has not come off in the two yrs I've had it on.Some wood inserts or in my case,stag, helps give it a better feel as it helps fill out the grip.Looks better to than the plastic that comes on it.Hope you enjoy your new gun that will last a lifetime and a day.

i have a clip draw on my karh, but where did you put it on the SP 101?

Just under cylinder on right side.It does not interfer with any of my holsters but may on some.Easy to take of with an allen wrench anyway it it does.It usually stays in a holster but sometimes it's just to easy to grab and go with the clip.Just to add,you have to use the provided tape.You get several extras in case you want to reposition or over time the old tape gives way.I wish it had screws to bolt it on like a smith but the tape has never given me a problem.
