Thread: Springfield

So what is everyones opinion of the springfield xd9 ??
I just bought one instead of a glock and i honestly must say i think it just might be a better quality gun.

I've got two. I have the xd 9 sub compact and the xd 9 tactical. They are both great guns. I also have a glock. To each there own. I like both but shoot the xd tactical more often.

I dont know if mine is the tactical it has 3 16 round clips and i think the 4 inch barrel but i really like the fact that it has some sort of saftey which a glock is lacking

Well i shot the xd9 today mine is the service model and i honestly do say this gun shoots better than a glock (to me) and quality wise it feels better (to me) from about 25 feet i can eat the center out of the target pretty sweet i would certainly recomend this gun to someone looking for this type of weapon

I love my xd's I also love my glocks but I do like the xd better, it just fits me better

I can point shoot my xd better than my glock. It just feels better in my hands. I like shooting both though. Parts are a whole lot easier to find for the glock. Have you done any after market work to your xd yet?

All i have done right now is i bought the streamlight tlr-1 and mounted it but i have to take it easy for awhile the bank account has dropped alittle to much

thats when you know its time to buy more guns!!

I just keep telling my wife they are an investment. It keeps her happy and me with more guns.
