Thread: Heinie Straight 8 sights - w/ pics

I like a dot-on-dot sight arrangement. I looked for a while and found what I had in mind - Heinie Straight 8s.

I saw on Springfield's web site that they supply and install Heine Straight 8's - what I didn't know is that they were tritium - what a nice surprise.

The sights, their installation, return shipping, the whole deal cost me $113.95.

Those look good. I was thinking of doing the same sights on my xd tactical 9mm.

Thanks, the SA Custom Shop did a good job for me. I used them because I couldn't budge the stock sights on my XD45. Lots of folks said I'd have to cut them out and I was not confident in my skill to do something that radical.

So, after some goggling and forum advice, I sent them to SA. Glad I did, too. I really like 'em.

Change them to what? That was my problem - deciding what to get to replace the ones I had.

I'm still in the deciding phase. I like the heine but I also like the truglo TFO's. Maybe I will decide eventually.

I have TruGlo TFO's on my G19 if you want to check them out. I like them pretty good myself.
