Default 1911 Compensator, are the worth it? (CCW)

I'm thinking of adding a Compensator to my fullsize 1911, that I use for CCW, I'm looking at the wilson combat one. I was just trying to get some opinions to answer these ponderings I have.

Is it worth it? compenstors in general
    Do you recommend a maker?
    What are the Pros/Cons?
    Would you use one?

    Thanks

In my 45 years of shooting I have NEVER seen a compensator on a carry gun. Most don't really mitigate any recoil anyway. I think it's all placebo. Of all of the major insturctors I have trained with NONE would ever recommend a comp on a carry gun.

    Just my two-cens.
Isaiah 6:8 Then I heard the voice of the Lord saying,
"Whom shall I send? And who will go for us?"
And I said, "Here am I. Send me!"
