Default Pics of "New" Sig P6.

    Pics of "New" Sig P6.

Several asked for pics (should have posted some pics in original thread).

Paid $225 for it, w/ only one mag. No holster. Its a 9mm, 8+1.

I understand it is the twin of Sig's P225. The P6 is the European version.

Probably would enhance its looks to get it re-blued, but its outside appearance doesn't change the fact that it a real good shooter.

It is not a small, or even medium, auto. I'd call it a large auto, but I think it is just a tad smaller than my XD45. But with its single stack mag, it is real slim and I like that.

    Left side view.

It is not as silver/gray as it appears in this pic, the flash lightened it up. In the background is my reloading stuff. Hornady Lock N Load press and lot of Berry's bullets.

Nice looking handgun! I use to have a 228, but I sold it to my buddy.

    How you like the lock-n-load?

It was either that or the Dillon 550B. Truthfully, I got the LnL because of the 1,000 free bullets that came with it. I do enjoy using it, but I've found out that you gotta keep loose powder out of the primer feeder that screws in under the base plate. It has nice tight tolerances and has really made me clean up my act.

I don't think I'd recommend the LnL, or any other progressive press, for that matter, to a new reloader. There's a lot going on with every stroke of the handle and one must have a pretty good understanding of the reloading press to be successful.

My brother-in-law has a 550B and he has to advance by hand. The LnL advances automatically, I like that. But, really, both are good presses. When I get rolling, I can turn out a lot of reloads. But about every 10 rounds I stop the operation recheck my powder drop charge and OAL - just to be sure nothing has changed.
