    Default First 1911...

    How did I do?

Auto-Ardnance, $400. I am pretty sure it has seen less than 200 rounds, due to the relative feel of the springs and the retention of the blueing.

What do you think of my green grips? Too flashy?

I had an Auto-Ordnance 1911 a few years ago but, I sold it to fund an AR15. I think I like the wood grips better than the green ones.

Nice looking .45. I like the wood grips better, too.

    Default grips

I think the grips are diffrenet, and maybe even unique. I would get the slide and frame done in other "electric" colors and call it your High Volatge 1911

DUDE! Get a grip! But, if you like 'em, S'ok by me. However, consider getting something with a little texture to make sure the old 'warhorse' dosen't fly out of your hand. I do kinda like the color though.
