I just cant get over the feel of the gen4 G17. I love all the XD's ive owned but the glock is calling me

Glock 34 with Arredondo extended base pads on the mags, will give you 23 rounds in the mag itself and one in the chamber for a total of 24 rounds that feed reliable and the mags arent outrageously long.

And nothing says that you have to buy a Gen 4, they are still producing Gen 3's, I personally want a Gen 2 either 17 or 34.

Yeah...if you like the feel of the Glock and shoot better with it then just get a G34. Same frame as a G17 but with the longer slide/barrel and sight radius and adjustable sights.

Is it the Glock that you like? Or just the Gen-4? I don't know if the Gen-4 G34 is out yet....is it?

What's the difference between GLOCK gen3 and gen4?

I would go with the XD Tactical. If your planning to shoot IDPA as well, the XD will put you in ESP class. If thats not where you wanna be I would go with the G34 or M&P Pro.

Different kind of stipling. It's like a really rough skin grabbing pattern now.

yes, without them it is the SF frame and with the medium it is the normal frame, there is also a large. this is the reason I like the gen 4 so much. I like the slimmer frame (no backstraps). It just fits me better.
