    Default New pistola on order

I know I talked about a Walther, but when push came to shove, I went with a USA company, Ruger.

Had my local dealer order up a Davidson's exclusive (a distributor) - a 22/45 fiber site, fluted 5.5" bbl. Ruger is supposed to ship a bunch of these this month, hoping mine is one of them!

I got a walther sp22 at the same time my girl got a ruger 22/45.My walther has already been back once,i like it but i should have went with the ruger. You will enjoy it,i would order a mag loader from midway or else your hand will hate you.The ruger mags get very sharp were the mag button slides and we have been cut a few times.

I have a Ruger Standard I bought new in 1968. I have a couple different mag loaders for it that I'm sure will work. You are right, after some wear, the mag has razor sharp edges by the slide button. This will make the 8th Ruger weapon in my safe.

Theres a gunsmith here in Glennville that does it. He made me a thread protector too. Also did my 10/22. I think he charged me about $60 to do it. I hooked him up with Josh at Mission Essential so if you talk to Josh he can get it to him, or I can get you the contact information. Guys name is Jack.
