    Default My first revolver

ruger.jpgIts a ruger super blackhawk 44magnum. I traded my ruger 40cal I think I made out like a bandit. I've been wanting a large bore revolver for awhile now. Now I need to look for some good optics maybe a reddot.

That's a fine revolver. I hope to have one some day. Should we call you butch44cal now?

Hope you enjoy it. I shoot my revollvers better than any of my autoloaders. I think you made a fine trade.

I'd shoot it a while without adding a glass sight - see how you like it. I love my revolvers!

And, if you don't already, get into reloading - .44 Specials for practice are more expensive than .44 mags...... I reload my .45 Colt ammo for less than $8 for 50 rds - if I was paying retail I wouldn't be shooting much! You will be able to load mild to wild for your .44!

My Dad had a 7 1/2" blued model when I was growing up. I'd love to have one.

Well you surely picked the right caliber (wearing a .44 Rem Maggie on my neck right now.)

    Congratulations sir.

    That's a nice looking blaster!

How much is target ammo for that rig?
