    Default I think the neighbors think I'm a nut

    I was mowing my yard the yard the other day and noticed I got a couple strange looks from the neighbors. I couldnt figure out if it was because of the pistol on my hip or the fact that I was on a riding mower on my 1/3 acre lot:D I just saw one of them a minute ago when I got home and she gave me a goofy look.

    Oh well I guess I'm the neighborhood weirdo. Good thing I dont care.




    BTW I just wanted the first completely random, off topic thread :D

    So who else is the neighborhood loon?

    Soviet helmet and a 91/30 w/ bayonet fixed attacking a stump. I've gotten looks as well.

    Haha... I don't think people that live around me know that I own stuff. I'd rather them not since apparently I can get evicted for stuff like that, for some reason.

    It did have the effect of the neighborhood kids not bugging my when they have crap for fundraisers...

    I'd imagine mom telling them to stay away from that house...

    Neighbors called animal control on my dog. It stays in the house. Animal control said I wouldn't have to worry about it. Well next day I cleaned my 91/30 in the font yard. The nasty notes in the mail box. The mean stares, it all just kinda stopped

    Doesn't pay to be known as the neighborhood "gun" guy.

    Of course a couple of my neighbors know I'm ex LEO and Military and have put 2&2 together.
