I'm not a labor and employment person, but I think a conscientious objector could raise a certain amount of fuss over being denied employment based on his religion. If you can show your not discriminating and that there are no position that do not require the carrying of a firearm, then you'd be OK. but i'm relly just guessing at all this civil stuff.
Strict is right though in your home or place of business (which I interpret broadly to mean any person's place of employment) it is not a violation to carry without a permit.
