It sure is dead around here of late?
we planted peas on the farm 2 weeks ago for the deer.
I need to ck the stands.

Is that at the pond?

My kids and I just planted 1,000 White Pines. Didn't plant them for the deer, but the deer will eat about half of them before they're 3 years in the ground. Picking up 1,000 Balsam Fir seedlings this Saturday, they'll go in next week, mostly understory planting for 20 year old Red Pine stands.

My 3-year pheasant project was some less than a resounding success. Don't know if I'll try again or just let it go. Sons want to give it another shot, but it's me doing all the work and bearing all the expense - they just come to hunt, then back to their other lives. I suppose that I'll try again if I can get North Dakota and New York to provide birds and logistical support again.

we back flushed the well piping and cleared the drain yesterday.
All went (well) pun intended except when we removed the outside plug,the water pressure launched all $30.00 of it :and we haven't been able to find it yet we will as soon as the level gets down and the flow slacks .
