Default Help requested - looking for a remote trigger puller

Help requested - looking for a remote trigger puller

I've looked high and low and can't find what I have in mind.

What I'm looking for is a device that will remotely pull a trigger for me.

The reason I want something like this is to make zeroing a scope easier - hands free, so to speak. I would operate the device and it would pull the trigger for me - all I'd have to do is aim the gun from the bench rest - get the cross hairs centered and then let the device pull the trigger for me.

    Does any such thing exist?

A link would be nice, too.

The reason I want one is: I'm trying to see if my scope is worth a crap. Sometimes it hits the x and other times it doesn't. I'm trying to figure out if it is me or the scope that is a POS.

    Thanks

I know that there are pneumatic devices for this purpose, but I've never used one. I'm sure if you Google it you'll find what you're looking for.

Thanks Swamp Monster. I did find one of those at Cabelas, but the reviews of it were not good.

yeah they make such a thing for bench rest shooters. I have seen them but dont know what they are called. Basicly they use that in conjunction with a rifle vice to take all shooter error out.

Has anyone knowledgable ever qritiqued your trigger pull? It might be easier to work on your skillset than to go throu all this expense.

My thoughts also. You're in a town with some fine experts in shooting.
Go by the range @ Ft Benning, someone there ought to be able to help you.

Have someone else try shooting your rifle?

And something to think about ... use a target with a defined diamond shape to aim at, that way you put the cross hairs on the 4 points of the diamond ..... its better than trying to shoot a dot for zeroing. Also dont shoot the diamond out of the center ...... adjust so your group is off one way or the other, then just dial it over when done.
