    Some folks are getting out of reloading in fear that their equipment will be determined to be illegal in the near future.

    It's already passed our Senate, moving on to the House. There's a link somewhere that shows the progress in each state. If I can find it I'll post it.

    Maybe you mis-interpreted this bill. This bill will take some power from the Feds and put it back into the States hands.

    AN ACT EXEMPTING FROM FEDERAL REGULATION UNDER THE COMMERCE CLAUSE OF THE CONSTITUTION OF THE UNITED STATES A FIREARM, A FIREARM ACCESSORY, OR AMMUNITION MANUFACTURED AND RETAINED IN {insert state name here}
    Several states are copying the Montana bill word for word almost. If it passes in any of these states, it will mean that any firearms, firearms acccessories, or ammunition that is manufactured in said state, sold in said state, and remains in said state will be exempt from Federal regulation under the Interstate Commerce Clause (which the Federal govt. uses to control almost everything in our lives).

    Ok so I see what you are saying ( But ) if I go to Montana and say I buy a gun then come back home to Georgia Is that gun or Ammo still legal? Too many loop holes in my book but I don't care for the Gov. sticking his or her nose into my Business every time I turn around....

    No it is not. In order for it to be legal, the item has to stay in Montana. That's how it works. The .gov can't regulate what doesn't cross state lines.
