Default I need your help for an article I'm writing...

Hey everybody, I would be very thankful for any help that you could give me. I go to Kennesaw State University and I'm writing a news article about the recent increase in gun and ammunition sales. If you could help me out with this, I would be extremely thankful!

I your phone number so that my teacher knows I'm just not making this stuff up. He spot checks a few numbers in our class but it would be very unlikely that he would call you. If you work at a store or range, you can just give me your business number and if you don't feel comfortable giving your number then you can answer the questions and I can use your answers as background info. Again, thank you very much for any help you can give me!

You can post your answers or e-mail them to me at: Casey.Fenn@gmail.com

    1. What is your name?
    2. What is your telephone number?
    3. How long have you been buying guns and how many do you have?
    4. What do you use your guns for? (target shooting, hunting, protection, collecting etc.)
    5. Where do you normally purchase guns and ammunition? (online, local store, national chain, etc.)
    6. Why did you first start purchasing firearms and why do you continue?
    7. Has the recent election changed your buying habits at all? If so, how?
    8. Do you find it harder, easier or about the same to find ammunition than before the election?
    9. Where do you see your shooting habit going from here? (Will you buy and shoot more, less, or the same.)
    10. Do you have any fears about government intervening in your affairs with regard to firearms? If so, what are they?

For anyone who runs a gun store or range:

    1. What’s the name of your business and what do you do?
    2. How long have you been in business?
    3. Have you seen an increased interest in firearms over the past few months?
    4. What do you believe that the reason is?
    5. Where do you see the future of the firearms industry?

+1000 This seems a little fishy being his first post and all. Maybe he should have eased into it. Let stryc go first.

Ok, I guess I can totally understand the reluctance since I just joined you so I'll give you a little info about me. I'm 23 and I'm going to Kennesaw State (like I said in the earlier post). I also just recently purchased my first gun at the big gun show in Cobb County a couple of weeks ago. It's a Ruger Blackhawk and it is beautiful. I've gotten to shoot it twice so far but I'm looking forward to shooting it a lot more in the future. Unfortunately, I haven't been able to find any .38 special ammo ANYWHERE. And I've gone to every Wal-Mart in the Cumming, Kennesaw, Powder Springs, Canton, Woodstock, Dallas, Austell area. And .357 ammo is just too expensive to shoot regularly.

I'm currently looking at purchasing a .22 Ruger Single Six next but we'll see what happens.

By the way, my Blackhawk gets pretty hot after firing fifty rounds through it. Do I need to let it cool down at all or is the heat ok? Just wondering because I'm kinda new to the firearm scene.

So, that is a brief summary of who I am. If any of you could answer those questions, I would be extremely grateful. If not, that's ok. I'll find some way to manage. Thanks in advance for any help you may give.

Can I get the GPS coordinates to the scene of the boating accident? I could learn to scuba dive to find all of them.
