Thread: I need your help for an article I'm writing...

Hey everybody, I would be very thankful for any help that you could give me. I go to Kennesaw State University and I'm writing a news article about the recent increase in gun and ammunition sales. If you could help me out with this, I would be extremely thankful!

I your phone number so that my teacher knows I'm just not making this stuff up. He spot checks a few numbers in our class but it would be very unlikely that he would call you. If you work at a store or range, you can just give me your business number and if you don't feel comfortable giving your number then you can answer the questions and I can use your answers as background info. Ok, I guess I can totally understand the reluctance since I just joined you so I'll give you a little info about me. I'm 23 and I'm going to Kennesaw State (like I said in the earlier post). I also just recently purchased my first gun at the big gun show in Cobb County a couple of weeks ago. It's a Ruger Blackhawk and it is beautiful. I've gotten to shoot it twice so far but I'm looking forward to shooting it a lot more in the future. Unfortunately, I haven't been able to find any .38 special ammo ANYWHERE. And I've gone to every Wal-Mart in the Cumming, Kennesaw, Powder Springs, Canton, Woodstock, Dallas, Austell area. And .357 ammo is just too expensive to shoot regularly.

I'm currently looking at purchasing a .22 Ruger Single Six next but we'll see what happens.

By the way, my Blackhawk gets pretty hot after firing fifty rounds through it. Do I need to let it cool down at all or is the heat ok? Just wondering because I'm kinda new to the firearm scene.

So, that is a brief summary of who I am. If any of you could answer those questions, I would be extremely grateful. If not, that's ok. I'll find some way to manage. Thanks in advance for any help you may give.
