    Default Concealed Carry question?

Okay....I've had my permit for over 8 years now, but I've only started carrying everyday/everywhere in the past 1-2 years. I've got to go pick someone up from the Savannah airport next week and I'm wondering if that's "off-limits" or not? Anybody got any thoughts on this?

I think you are good in the entrance area but once you see metal detectors no good...I'm trying to remember where I saw the article that defined 'go & no go'. I have a couple of friends that carry everywhere, period. I don't everywhere, but I always have kept one in the back of my guitar amp. I have seen bad things happen in some of the places I have played. I would rather be wrong and put on double secret probation than be without and dead. And it not being on my person.....hmmmm.

I don't think you can go past the detectors and not sure what they would do I might venture into saying lieve it in the Car....

That's kinda what I was thinking as well, but unless things have changed in the last year or so, they won't let you past the security checkpoint (aka metal detectors) without a ticket anyways. If you're meeting someone you can't go past there.

I'd carry, but that's me. Apparently HB89 made it legal to carry in the non-secured areas of the airport, but I know there was a big stink about Hartsfield not obeying the law and saying they will arrest anyone carrying anywhere on the grounds. Sav Intl seems to be ok, though. Got to GPDO and search "Savannah Airport" -one guy says his shirt lifted up and exposed his weapon and an officer came over and told him to cover up and that was the end of it.

I'd probaly leave it in the truck the first time so I could check everything out. If it looked ok ,then maybe the next time I'd carry.....

I've carried my revolvers into Hartsfield, but they were in a locked gun case. I was checking them in for my flights to Alaska. Still after reading the ATL mayors comments I did worry a bit...

I'd do a little research on it first and then proceed accordingly. If by meeting you dont have to go through metal detectors........ then I would carry. If you know you have to pass through detectors I would tell my friend or whoever to meet me in the "safe" zone this side of the detectors so I could still carry.
