    Default Next Purchase

I'm saving up for another purchase and would like everyone's opinion on it.

The .308 rifle is going to be a bolt gun with a good scope on it for distance.

The AR pistol will be a build with a 7.5" barrel.

I'm still undecided on which carry gun I want, but it would most likely be .45ACP, but other calibers would possibly work.

Let me know with both your vote and your response, if you'd like.

Do they come in the compact variety?

What kind of price can I expect to pay?

That's a polymer framed pistol, correct? If so, how's the balance on it?

If you dont have a carry piece that is #1 on the list. The 7.5" AR is a toy as is the 308 bolt gun in most cases. Your CCW is THE most important firearm you will ever buy. Make that your first priority and work from there.

I've already got two carry weapons, but wouldn't mind having a third choice depending on the circumstances. From most to least practical, I would list them as: carry pistol, .308 rifle, AR pistol. But, obviously, that's just my opinion.

So, I'm leaning towards a next purchase of a compact or subcompact .45

Now, I'm not stuck on that caliber, but I don't know if I want to add another caliber to my collection.

I carry a full-size 1911 every day with no issues. What is it? If its a quality 1911 your set. If not invest your money in making it a quality 1911 or upgrading it. THere is a good 1911 smith here in Glennville.

    Springfield Armory "Loaded".

It's a very nice pistol and I'm pretty accurate with it at self-defense ranges (all I've shot it at).
