Thread: oh yea!!!!!

I was called earlier in the week by my bud Capt Mark asking if I could maybe help out as he was in a Jam. Seems most of his team mates had a wedding to attend and couldn't fish the TWO WAY KMT. So I was pulled out of "retirement" from Tournament fishing.....:clap:

It was Capt Mark, His son Dawson and myself. The plan was to try and get a good points fish to help out the team.

We were fishing 3 to 4 ft seas and had a great ride out to the fishing grounds in the 31 ft Contender. Arrived and got some baits out looking for ol' slimy.

It didn't take long and Dawson was busy....



Then we had a nice teenager in the boat....good start to the day,

A bit later in the day we had a good un and lost it ... Seems a big tiger shark wanted it more then we did. Dawson fought it for about 15 min before it was ...um swallowed!!!!! then we got this one..... Mark fought him and I ran the boat to chase him down to get line back..he dumped the spool quick. Then I got a good gaff shot and it was on the deck..




As you can see Dawson was so happy he tried a lil' dance for us ...lololo

A bit later dawson got a nice spanish....


We decided to run to the scales and get the points for the fish.

Dawson wound up winning 1st place JR Angler!!!




The Team came in second overall in the tournament. The king we weighed was 30.20 Lbs so it got Team Real Dawg/Empire a good start to the D-4 season!!!!

Man that is super news We at Have Teenage Hero who is on his way to be the pros' Thanks for sharing and it looks like good times where had...

Congrats! The Kings I used to get off Panama City were about the size of your spanish.... :-)
