I'm scanning old photos and I found this one of me in my "Gumby" survival suit aboard the NOAA research vessel Chapman out in the gulf of Mexico. We had to be able to don the suit in under one minute. I was part of the scientific crew on this National Marine Fisheries cruise. Yes, we caught some nice fish! (My favorite was a red hind that we cooked on the grill) The Chapman was about 130 feet and we had 15 people on board. the guy in the blue in the photo was our executive officer. I'm including some other photos too.

Our towed-array sonar (for bottom mapping)
And one of many small barracuda I caught with my spinning rod, it's a LONG pull up to the deck of the ship.....
