Default Canoochee River 3/26/10.............Newbs first float!

Well, I took my first voyage today . I had the wife drop me off at the bridge on 169 then came back later and picked me up at the 301 bridge. The river was high and the water was cold, but I had a great time. One thing I quickly learned is you better be looking ahead and come up with a plan of attack pretty dang quick with the river running like it was. One second your like ....next second you are like I also saw a large alligator that scared the crap out of me when he slid of the bank.
    Bridge on Hendrix Bridge Road.

    Bridge on Hwy 301.

Here's a couple of different spots in the river.

Hendrix bridge was one of our swiming holes long time ago. Also one off metter highway on 129 or 169,can't remember and one out from Daisy. And one at Groveland bridge.Hole at Daisy was pretty deep.Ears would hurt a little if you went to the bottom the first few times. At least 15ft or more.
