    Default Broke the Tuckahoe curse

After 4 yrs I finally took a deer on tuckahoe. There were over 250 people checked in for this hunt.Every spot I went to I found people. The one spot that was my sure thang..turned out to have a granola bar wrapper laying right there.bang Before I left I saw this turkey that something got ahold of..

I checked nearly 25 spots and just kept running into people. With this many people, and it being the last day of the hunt I knew I had to think like a deer.I would either hit the thickest stuff I could,or get isolated.I decided to check out a section that had some water in it.Not many people there.I parked at the parking area, and it was obvious I was not the first one there, but I decided I would get my feet wet, because I knew most of the guys would stop at the waters edge.

On my way in I jumped a doe and yearling.I was excited to see something, but upset that I may have blown my chance.I saw a blow down and climbed up on it watching the swamp.

20 minutes later I saw a doe slipping through about 80yds out..Here is my view..

I had to pick an opening in front of her,and when she reached it I took the shot.

Here is what I saw when I approached her.

    This was her view..

Well that's about it.The bad luck streak finally ended.Hope y'all enjoyed the pics!
