Thread: Doubled Up Again

Went to FS with some friends yesterday. I had a 'yote run ny at 4:55PM but couldn't get him to stop for a shot. Then about 30-45mins before dark a lone doe came out to my left. Her being alone made me think, so I waited......2-3mins later here comes a buck! I let out a MEEEAAAW, he stops and the 300 win mag barks! He runs off and I here him crash about 60-70yds away. I look down and the doe is still there looking confused......BOOM, down she goes too! This was my 2nd double of the season, the 1st this year was with my muzzleloader.......2 of my 4 doubles happen in one season! The buck was decent 118lb 7pt, but nothing spectacular.....the doe was 105lbs, a good mature doe. I didn't have my digital camera with me but my friend took a pic with his phone....I'll post it when he sends it.
