    Default Lucky Charm

    Looks like my son Brandon is my lucky charm.Jacob backed out for this evening,but Brandon stepped right up.

    We went to where me and Jacob saw 2 on the way out yesterday evening.We made a ground blind,and settled in.Well it wasn't but about 40 minutes when I saw a buck step out way down the path.I told Brandon "deer",and he had just stood up to look when I shot.I saw the deer bunny hop,and take off.We ran the 213yds to where I shot him,and I saw him down a mowed path.He was about to buckle,but I put another one in him and that was it.

    Brandon was fired up again!..lol We got a pic on the phone then it was time for work.Nice little basket rack.7pt southern count.5pt by my count.

    I've been on a few "freebie" hunts, but haven't gotten to collect one of those pretty little tags yet....Randolph has one heck of a collection of them!

    LOL...Yeah I guess I do.Here is my collection of 42 before season started,so plus 4.The one by itself at the bottom is a MDC tag I got in Missouri.
