Thread: Pre Season Scouting

Well how is it going for everyone?

We have found about 7 areas(new) to start this year with. 4 of these areas have deer and hogs. Several has massive amounts of mucadines and one area has at least 3 bucks working thru it based on trail cam and sightings.

I am going to put out 2 cameras this week in 2 of the new spots to see what's hanging around. I think Ben is onto a gem of a spot.

All of my usual hangouts I rarely put out tc's because I know they are good spots already. So here is a question: Do you trail cam your regular spots or just new areas?

Heck I don't even own a trail cam.

I say trail cam a new spot in same general area that you know is good. Seems like sometimes a great spot is only 100yds away!

I do something like that. I will fine tune my stand site in an area. I may move it only 50 yds just depends on what I see or where I see them coming from.

I think a decent 6pt may expire friday afternoon, he's just been hanging around too much....TWACK!
